I am choreographer, performer with a Bachelors degree in Dance from the University of California at Irvine, Masters degree in Dance from the University of California at Los Angeles, and a Certification in Movement Analysis from the Laban Institute in New York City. My work has been presented nationally and internationally: at New York’s Dixon Place, the Oasis Festival at Chashama, the Williamsburg Art Nexus, the D.U.M.B.O Dance Festival and the Cool New York Dance Festival; in San Francisco at the West Wave Dance Festival; and in Spain at the Marató Festival in Barcelona. i also performs in works by Claire Porter/Portables. Currently, I am involved in working on a performance video installation with new media artist Sophie Kahn.

Final Cut ( or any other video editing), dance forms
I use contemporary dance techniques and Laban/Bartenieff work before and during rehearsals, along with improvisation for development of material. Also, as part of my process, I photograph, video tape and record sounds as documentation.

Research into the unknown – improvisational laboratory / 2010, is a residency programme in improvisation in dance and other artforms, and its relation to awareness and perception of performer and audience.
