Posted on August 6, 2009 at 6:42pm 0 Comments

15 Variations based on Bach’s Golberg’s will be performed with a live string quartet under the direction of Jeremiah Bornfield at Galapagos on August 24th. The video will be projected during the performance. Due to the tight time constraint, time flexibility to meet and rehearse is crucial.

I am looking for a dancer with a classical modern dance background. The video will be shot in one continuous master shot with choreographed camera dolly movements. The dancer will also perform the… Continue

Sorry for the delay... accidentally responded on my own comment wall:

On the sound- more often than not I was on the phone and/or had the audio muted, so I didn't notice the sound issues. How did you mic it?

Blog also looks good. Simple, elegant design which works better than odd shades or bright colors. Some of the navigation might need to be tweaked (I would make the links to video, pictures, etc a little more obvious), but I think the content model appears to be in good shape.

Hi! Great! Thanks for asking... I wanted to send something out here... perhaps on the blog...? Well, I'm performing a new piece, it's a solo called ID and it's at 45 minutes. I talk about it a bit in the video I just posted a couple days ago. It's on Sunday at Three if you could come that would be so great, and introduce yourself, there's coffee & cookies after. I'm starting to get nervous...!

Interesting... well, perhaps we should start a dance-tech group in 2nd life--- there probably is one already, ha. Let's go meet there for some coffee! Well, I think in 2L I'll be Kurt Cobain, so don't be too suprised if you find that a passionately despondent sexy pink haired guy with a book waiting. ha.

Crazy... shall we join the 12-17 year olds in creating content?
From my experience with interractive performance with the youtubey community... you are right... I did have to entice a few of my favorites, but for the most part people were excited to tell me about their opinions on dance and do a dance (if they felt like it)... the thing is... I wasn't asking much of this lazy-stayathome-askpeopletopresspaypall-community, you have to pick your forums, are you involved with 2nd life at all? I'm very curious about that place...?
