How do you train yourself or your performers. How do you approach your embodied practices? what kind of technique do you use?
i'm returning from a year off of training after intensively questioning my foundation, and basically the foundation of dance and every other thing in the world with it.

I am interested in social change. I immerse myself in local art as a reminder of what theory can undo if it gets lost inside itself. I am interested in the story of the "average joe", how stories intersect to penetrate the local ideological power structures one person at a time. one relationship at a time. there is so much in there.

Meanwhile, getting into somatics - Alexander, Release Technique, and maybe some Reiki and Yoga. I'm interested in accessing the deeper energies to initiate with more focused effort.
