Corinne Cappelletti received her BA in Interdisciplinary Studies (2001) from Goucher College during which she immersed herself in the dance and culture of Ghana, West Africa and Bali, Indonesia. Upon returning from Indonesia, Corinne discovered her curiosities for teaching dance and for a practice in United Martial Arts, Alexander Technique and movement improvisation. Corinne’s life continued along an intersection of geography, choreography and social activism. For her graduate research in place-identity she designed a place-making device through a performance project inspired by the course “Ecology of Residence” held at the Murie Center (Teton National Forest, 2007) with Terry Tempest Williams. The durational performance project, The New Pedestrian, is still performed monthly in Salt Lake City, UT. Corinne worked as an ArtsBridge scholar blending arts and social justice with a group of high school students at Horizonte School from 2008-09. As a Laban Movement Analyst she draws upon movement concepts and somatic knowledge to educate movers from all backgrounds and ages, to facilitate group process, make dances, and perform. After completing her MFA in Modern Dance at the University of Utah (2009), she relocated to New York City where she is an instructor and administrator at the Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies.

welcome to UNSTABLELANDSCAPE

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE

This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.

We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary  community interacting and embedded  unstablelandscape.

This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
