I'm starting to think hard about going back to school but want a program with really strong technology base as well strong art. I'm worried that a dance/tech program won't be strong enough in both. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am looking at Simon Fraser U in Vancouver, University of Colorado at Boulder, Arizona State, Ohio State, San Fran Art Institute and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

I want some good computer/tech skills that will help with the bills while making interactive art...

Hello Hélène, I'm sad to say that I'm just reading your message now, 18 months later! I get all the EMPAC emails, though, and I love hearing what's going on there.

The person who started this post (Kristin) and I are now good friends. In fact, we go to the same grad program. :)

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE

This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.

We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary  community interacting and embedded  unstablelandscape.

This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
