dance-tech.net presents: On Capturing Intention: Interview with Emio Greco and Bertha Bermudez

Marlon Barrios Solano interviewes choreographer Emio Greco and researcher Bertha Bermudez. They takes us across relevant details of their ongoing interdisciplinary project Capturing Intention: Documentation, analysis and notation research based on the work of Emio Greco | PC.

The project outputs a book of essays accompanied with a film documentary and a DVD-ROM attempting to undertsand the complexities of "movement intentionality" conveyed in the EG |PC "Double Skin/Double mind" creative approach exploring dualities: brain-movement, sacred and profane.

Bertha about the remarcable opprotunity that the comany has created for her to keep working with the company leading this interdiscipnary reserach on movement transmission, choreographic recreation and notation.

thank you for the feedback. I am working on those production details and I agree that in this we can put more dance...and in general that is what I have been doing. Version is a good idea!

Hi Marlon,
Again great video! A few things: if there is an outcome or resource like the book and/or cd rom, please make a note somewhere and how one can order it, more footage of the dance works is always welcome whilst the interviewees are talking, the length of the interview, for some of us, is long with caps on our download time for the month, so a choice between shorter version as well as the long one would would be welcome and then your mike - we can hear you breathe sometimes... :)
