Natalie Heller is a movement artist and educator whose work bridges choreography and visual art. In the past she has worked with actors, musicians, visual artists and filmmakers. Her creative interest is centered on giving a first person account of lived experience. She began creating performance work in 2006 and has been supported by a number of organizations including the Ministry of Culture and Education of Cyprus and the French Institute. Natalie earned a BA from Oxford University in Philosophy and French and then continued her training in dance at Dance New Amsterdam in NYC and Espedance in France. In 2012 she attained her Master degree in Creative Practice with distinction from Trinity Laban in London. This program included an influential period of study with choreographer Rosemary Butcher, whose artistic vision and methodology are instrumental to Natalie's current work. Recent collaborations include working with Karl Frost (Body Research-Seattle), Karl Paquemar (Ergot-France), Arianna Economou (Echo Arts-Cyprus) and Tom Pain (independent film director-UK). Natalie now teaches somatic practices in Istanbul and in her work continues to explore the question: How do we experience our humanity?

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE

This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.

We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary  community interacting and embedded  unstablelandscape.

This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
