About Me (human/individual)/interests, work..short bio/ THis is the most important. It is the only way to know that you are not a SPAMBOT!Be generous!: I am a director, dance and visual artist. I was born and raised
in a small village in Switzerland and now live and work in New York. I love to teach movement and like to be engaged in experiments that involve people from different art fields and different cultural backgrounds. In my work, I'm concerned with the relationship between the human body, our visual representation of the world, the architecture we live in, and how other bodies see us and themselves. I seek dance vocabulary in image, place and social context, a choreographic method I describe as "visual motion construction". Recently in my work, I have started to take my inspiration in creating performance works from video documenting daily life in a socio-architectural setting.
