Photography Exhibition by Mafalda Marques Correia (Portugal) - Welcome to my Home @ Módulo - Centro Difusor de Arte(Lisbon) in the scope of 3rd edition InShadow - International Festival of Video, Performance and Technologies.

Synopsis:
Having studied painting and photography, the work of Mafalda Marques Correia is between the two disciplines: photography, because of the production technique and the nature of the elements that are used to make the picture; painting, by the aesthetics, construction and composition process of each piece. This exhibition presents several series that share a common element: the house, although it doesn’t occupy a central theme, it is always presented in the artist’s images. This exhibition is named "Welcome to my Home", a title shared with the more recently produced series, which also fits to this first public individual exhibition, where the gallery is transformed during this period, in a place that hosts a singular imaginary and in which the visitor is invited to enter.
