In Forest, ANIKAI Dance invites you to leave behind the confines of our urban world that constrict the imagination, and to enter the ever evolving, unpredictable world of the forest. Forest is a Contemporary Dance work informed by movement forms from Break Dance to Butoh, from Capoeira to Kalaripayattu. The nine ANIKAI dancers create a world unfamiliar and alluring, full of serenity and sensuality, conflict and metamorphosis.
Wendy Jehlen/ANIKAI Dance is presented as part of Dance Theater Workshop’s Guest Artist Series, a subsidized, curated rental program serving a wide range of dance and performance artists from around the world.
Discounted Tickets available for Students, Seniors, and Members

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE
This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.
We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary community interacting and embedded unstablelandscape.
This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
