Vox Novus London and East London Dance present:
60x60 Dance [London]
Saturday 24 July 2010
3pm & 8pm
Stratford Circus, London E15 1BX
"The idea — 60 new dance pieces are performed to 60 new pieces of music, each lasting no more than 60 seconds — is quite mad. But it’s this kind of madness that makes the cultural world go round..."
(The New York Times)
60x60 Dance [London] brings together dance and electronic music in an electrifying one-hour performance in which every minute of the hour will see a new dance maker and composer collaborate.
Eclectic by nature, 60x60 Dance [London] offers an unmatched diversity of styles, making for a fast-speed performance that will not cease to surprise. Dances span all forms from ballet to hip-hop to salsa to roller disco and contemporary, while music includes neo-romantic, folk, tech-house, noise, rock and everything but the kitchen sink.
After it’s huge success in the US, 60x60 Dance arrives in London this summer for it’s European debut to celebrate the two-year countdown to the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Don’t miss what’s promised to be the punk rock guerrilla dance happening of the year.
Tickets: £9/£5

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE
This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.
We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary community interacting and embedded unstablelandscape.
This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
