Event Description

Learning to Play

Saturday 22 March and Sunday 23 March 2014, 1-5pm
Guided tour: 2-3pm, both Sat and Sun; meet outside The Hub cafe

LEARNING TO PLAY (A PROMENADE) is a friends and family-friendly interactive procession through a collection of special areas in Victoria Park that imaginatively uses movement and moving image to ‘play’ in our urban green spaces. Whatever the weather, meet us outside the cafe at The Hub at 2pm and we’ll explore together.

These special places will be activated by performances and installations throughout the afternoon, so if you’d rather adventure on your own, pick up a map from the cafe at The Hub or Chisenhale Dance Space before you set off.

Commissioned by Chisenhale Dance Space and supported by Tower Hamlets Council, artist Lucy Thane invites you to explore the park as a whole new adventure.

Suitable for all ages, children must be accompanied by an adult.

This work will be created through workshops with local adults and children. If you would like to join a workshop, visit iamnotavillage.com for more information or check out the listing here.

Commission is part of Chisenhale Dance Space’s Dance | Film Festival from 20th-23rd March 2014.

welcome to UNSTABLELANDSCAPE

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE

This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.

We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary  community interacting and embedded  unstablelandscape.

This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
