This is a week long intensive workshop to explore essential techniques and principles of William Forsythe, The Ballett Frankfurt and The Forsythe Company.

It is an introduction into the use of Improvisational tools, such as Bridging, Folding, Point-Point-Line, Inclinations, Isometries, Matching, Cross-Hemispheric exercises, Reversals, Inversions, Transparencies etc...

These exercises increase awareness of your body in movement and where it's limitations and liberties are. They free you from habitual patterns and enable you to generate fresh ideas while sustaining clear and graceful movement.

After the workshop you will be able to use these techniques to approach movement from a different perspective that will allow you to push your individual possibilities and continue developing yourself into a more free and dynamic performer.

You will gain practical knowledge that you can apply in your dancing or choreographic work for many years to come.
