DANCE FOR THE CAMERA 2010
JULY 5 TO JULY 17, 2010
VICTORIA BC CANADA
Dance for the Camera (DFTC 2010) Intensive Summer Program is a unique opportunity for established and emerging choreographers, filmmakers, videographers, dancers and visual artists to explore dance/movement for the camera under the mentorship of award winning choreographer, filmmaker, curator, educator and recipient of the Guggenheim Fellowship (2006), Ellen Bromberg. In the last 4 years DFTC’s past participants have entered their short video dance projects into national and international dance film festival and we are proud to say that they have been shown in over 30 festivals.
DFTC’s home is in Victoria, BC, Canada on beautiful Vancouver Island. This unique two-week program offers in-depth experience in filming and editing dance for the camera in a safe, collaborative, and creative environment.

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE
This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.
We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary community interacting and embedded unstablelandscape.
This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
