The Beinghuman International Residency provides an opportunity for inter-disciplinary artists to explore collaborative, art practice & develop new work, research or run workshops in the space. This residency, in the Beinghuman Warehouse in Somerset, is non-prescriptive & process-based, allowing artists time & space to experiment with new ideas, methods & processes. Through dialogue & engagement, participants research & create either their own work or inter-disciplinary collaborative work & explore the power of art for social change.

Beinghuman Ltd & Humanbeing CiC - subsidizes the residencies. Artists stay for a minimum of 4 days cost £40 per night in the Somerset Warehouse. Located 15 minutes from Hauser & Wirth Somerset, Bath, Bristol, Glastonbury & Stonehenge the warehouse is 600 sq. m. or urban loft space in the heart of SW England. Artists get their own private room, wi-fi, shared bathroom & kitchen facilities & also access to the other communal workspaces. There may be a curated event either in Somerset 01.11.14 or London warehouse at the end of Jeannette’s residency: 06.11.14 

Artists are responsible for their travel, food, insurance & materials.
