Ballet Hispanico, celebrating 45 years of repertory that reflects the ever-changing diversity of Latino cultures, will be featured in Lincoln Center at the Movies: Great American Dance, a film series presenting performances by four of America’s leading companies: Ballet Hispanico, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, New York City Ballet and San Francisco Ballet. Coming to over 600 U.S. cinemas on Thursday, November 12 at 7:00 pm (local time) is Ballet Hispanico, led by Artistic Director Eduardo Vilaro, with two audience favorites: CARMEN.maquia, an electrifying contemporary take on Bizet’s passionate opera choreographed by Spaniard Gustavo Ramírez Sansano, and Club Havana, a virtuosic re-imagining of a sizzling nightclub by Cuban-born choreographer Pedro Ruiz. The film will include special behind-the-scenes interviews with the dancers and a glimpse of the company’s rehearsals.

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE
This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.
We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary community interacting and embedded unstablelandscape.
This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
