Dance Camera West is excited to celebrate the12th Annual DCW Dance Media Film Festival with “Get Wet,” a celebration of screen dance, live dance, and water. Featuring DCW’s traditional roster of new international dance films, “Get Wet" will include live, site-specific dance works from world-renowned choreographers and dancers. Events and performances and screenings will be located at fountains in Los Angeles, including the majestic Getty Museum. Our green inspired festival will be sure to inform audiences about dance, film and the preservation of water.
Dance Camera West welcomes dance media in any dance style or genre. Categories include: screendance, short films, features, documentary, installations, and interactive dance media. DCW is excited to welcome films akin to the "Get Wet" theme this year as well, however it is not a required component.
Festival will include special student programming (9-12) for the DCW Pro Motion Youth Competition. Reduced rates for student submissions are listed below.
