Tasks:
1.-Watch the documentary "sampling" words or "tags" of anything that resonates, or goes to the foreground. Sample as many words you can. The more the better.
2.-Make connections between your sampled words and generate 5 questions. You may map then with a drawing or digital software.  e.g. Word Cloud Visualizers.
3,-Share ALL you words and your questions in one comment in this thread.
ENJOY!

Hi all:

Here is my drawing/wordart/cloud, I hope it works. Just testing it:

the first sketch, including all words and sentences

https://wordart.com/8qz5vn5j4qbu/word-art

the second sketch

https://wordart.com/5kfir1zhiojm/word-art%202

Random highlighted words, according to the program selection, following the ballerina drawing, flow through the body and limbs:

_ Nature common bank magic economy system key money future,

_  currency machine digital new trust

_ open life value best true gift

_ money internet global supply

And some thoughts/questions from watching the docu and from before:

_ value of goods vs the value of craft making, why humans didn't give any value to the actual craft making as exchange value? what is the essential value humanity brought to the currency, only about the exchange of goods for survival? Is it possible to make a shift to a meta-value?

_ trust, transparency. What is the essence of the failure of the system? It is a reflection of the inner disconnection and unconscious lives humanity has created? Are we shifting into a higher and mature system of co-creation?

In case the links do not work, I attach here the files! This was fun!

See you Sunday!

P.S. Let me know how the links worked!

Questions:

how big is the CO2 footprint for each transference?
could we generate the energy for the transfers with our movements?
like a bike dynamo?
and in this way, we will not generate CO2 emissions?
It could be really motion crypto :)

I wrote a interactive code to visualize my words. You can find my words, a video, the images and the apps for mac and windows in this link:

https://c.web.de/@868068614136142486/DG5N0sNhQ6Ob58AZP4DtGg

may be you can run and enjoy them. Try pressing space , A and S key :)

My code is based on a D.Lange's code.

Great!

Hi Marian:

Unfortunately, I could not run your file but I love the round image in the video, I'm not sure I understand how the data is making the motion but I saw some threads moving. This is very interesting! I'm not a programmer but I got the basics.

About your questions,

._*could we generate the energy for the transfers with our movements?

like a bike dynamo?
and in this way, we will not generate CO2 emissions?
It could be really motion crypto :)*

I also have had this in my head, for a long time now, and probably other dancers/choreographers too, and have an idea with a machine but not a bike, it is a very stylized movement re-training machine (and here is where the round movement of your video fits in). This brings me to one of the questions, that I would ad to this inquiry into how to achieve sustainability from a highly developed movement language, believing that this is a value that is not considered into the equation but it is a value that can ad trust and quality to whatever crypto/NFT we could create!

I, particularly spend many hours re-training, improving, and stylizing movement, which I would compare with the same time spent in digital improving/work art/design craft, which I also do when working as a designer.

I think, still a long way to go for this!

P.S.

Probably you know about this but just wanted to share. I've been just reading all these articles and it blew my mind and helped me to understand what we are getting into. Especially with the NFT.

To run the files:

Download Processing 3.5.4 for your OS (Mac OS X, Linux 64-bit, Windows 64-bit, or Windows 32-bit)

From:

https://processing.org/download

Follow the instructions to install and put the folder  bitcoin1 inside your Processing folder.

bitcoin1.zip

Run Processing

Go to > File> Sketchbook> bitcoin1 > open

You will not need to import any library

Now run the code:

Hi,
I gathered your textual data of the previous comments, @reyna perdomo & @marian carranza: to add your words to this map:

<iframe src="https://embed.kumu.io/fc4fb2227a60f0e31562d9e406d79dca" width="475" height="303" frameborder="0"></iframe></p _origwidth="940" _origwidth="475"></p _origwidth="475" _origwidth="475">

1) add them to the first column of this spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1SLGClge56id_4RB6ezSZ0YVQup8...
2) refresh the map https://embed.kumu.io/fc4fb2227a60f0e31562d9e406d79dca

done!
very nice, thank you!

may I ask you, how do it works? why ist "durability" in the middle?
I think durability is very important :) but you take the decision to put it in the middle ... ?

hi, didn't decide to center it. probably it was the previously clicked on item on the map.

for this map i opted for big data template.

there are other templates more suitable to create connections (from, to)
i think it works that you can save views of the maps, creating a narrative in that sense, kumu seems like an interesting platform with lots of options and plenty documentation

... sometimes random is ok ;) Yep, kumu seems very interesting for me :) thank you for sharing!

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE

This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.

We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary  community interacting and embedded  unstablelandscape.

This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
