Second in a series of duets performed at the Gershwin Hotel lobby bathroom/and shown on the hotel's 235 TVs; Choreography and direction by Yanira Castro, installation by C. Merritt aHoughton, lighting by Kathy Couch, Sound by Stephan Moore, costumes bySuzanne Dougan, video by Peter Richards.DARK HORSE/BLACK FOREST is an intense love story presented in the most intimate space: a bathroom. The lobby bathroom of The Gershwin Hotel will be transformed by an installation of flourescents, mirrors, and video screens for this exclusive boutique performance. The audience is privy to an emotional and private exchange between a couple that evolves into a formal, sensual dance. There are two casts that rotate bi-weekly: a man and a woman (Heather Olson & Joseph Poulson), and two men (Luke Miller & Darrin Wright).
