Intermodal Happening.

ANTEFATTO

happening intermodale, take a breath nasce dalla scrittura.

BACKGROUND
take a breath, an intermodal happening, originates from a text
This pièce was born from lyrics [lyrics of a song by Jeanne lee, an Afroamerican jazz singer who was part of the '60s' avantgarde movement] broken and then elaborated with music, film, dance, acting and symbols called, time after time, into being.
The contents of the show are developed on different aspects of communication by a continuous and emotional mediatic fruition.
The performance represents the ancestral theme of life and death; breath, childhood, the universality of existence, its decline; all contents present in the inspiring text that become magnetic poles and the invisible thread that unites scene and artists.
This is the scenario, the tale of a remote, contemporary and future place and time in which menakind will keep on fearing and overcoming their fear, showing themselves and the world that, when love leavens life, ignorance, death and impermanence cease to be.
The place hosting the performance is simple and essential to allow for maximum visibility and importance to the actions scheduled in it; freedom of movement, creative improvisation and interaction between subjects (music, dance) and objects (media)
