company linga - re-mapping the body - teaser

The sound track of this clip by Company Linga is created live by the dancers equipped by wireless, physiological monitoring devices. Impulses produced by movements and muscular activity are processed by a software designed by Future instruments to be transformed into sound. This project from dance company Linga is realized in collaboration with the Sport Institute of Lausanne University, Geneva University of Music, and with support from the Swiss National Science Foundation and Biopac Systems. The piece was premiered on February 9-10 2012 in theatre Octogone, Pully, Switzerland. (Bastien Genoux - LeFlair production)
