Panorama09 :: Alain Buffard - entrevista

Alain Buffard é hoje um dos mais controversos e interessantes coreógrafos da dança francesa. Nascido em 1960, começou a dançar em 1978 com Alwin Nikolais, no Centre National de Danse Contemporaine (CNDC), em Angers, onde continuou com Viola Farber, em 1982. Dançou com os coreógrafos Brigitte Farges, Daniel Larrieu e Régine Chopinot, entre outros, e associou-se à Galerie Anne de Villepoix.

Seu novo espetáculo, (Not) a love song, evoca o cinema em poses, luzes, vozes e gestos para deflagrar um novo gênero: o musical trágico. Amores, codependência, sadismo e paixão compõem esse drama sobre as perdas do objeto amoroso e da identidade. Cinema e show business se tornam metáforas para essa nossa condição, em que o fascínio pelo duplo o outro desdobra-se mais aberta e livremente nos filmes. Alain Buffard escalou performers todos criadores conhecidos especialmente ricos, complexos e versáteis, para potencializar essa troca de identidades.
