OUVERTURE OFFICIELLE DU COPIER-COLLER
Le mardi 12 juillet 2011 marque l’ouverture officielle des locaux du Copier-Coller dans le quartier populaire de Sabalibougou, à Bamako, au Mali.
Le Copier-Coller est un centre de danse et de ressources multimédia mis en place et géré par des danseurs bamakois pour la communauté de danse contemporaine locale. Tidiani N’Diaye et Adama Mariko ont voulu créer un espace polyvalent, servant à la fois de lieu de création artistique, de centre de ressources multimédia à disposition des danseurs de Bamako, le tout sous la forme d’un cyber-café qui permet de générer des emplois et des revenus financiers pour les danseurs. Le lieu servant aussi d’espace communautaire, il contribue également à une meilleure insertion sociale pour l’ensemble de la population du quartier.
L’association Copier-Coller existe depuis août 2010, la Cie Gilles Jobin contribue à son organisation et à sa gestion, tandis que le collectif de danseurs de Bamako aide à son fonctionnement.
OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE COPIER-COLLER
Tuesday 12th July 2011 was the official opening of the premises of Copier-Coller in the popular district of Sabalibougou, in Bamako, Mali.
Copier-Coller is a dance and multimedia resource centre developed and managed by dancers from Bamako, for the local contemporary dance community. Tidiani N’Diaye and Adama Mariko meant to establish a multipurpose space functioning both as a place for artistic creation, and as a multimedia resource centre for the local dancers. All of this under the form of a cybercafé which generates employment and income for the dancers. The place being also a community space, it contributes as well to a better social insertion of all the neighbourhood.
The association Copier-Coller exists since August 2010, Cie Gilles Jobin supports both its organization and its management, while the dancers community of Bamako contributes to its functioning.
