Interview with Francesc Casadesús - Director of Mercat de les Flors, a cultural engine from Barcelone. This year in June they organized MOV_S 10 in Madrid focused on The Active Espectator.
mov-s is a space for international exchange in the world of dance and movement arts, and celebrated its first edition in April 2007, in Mercat de les Flors (Barcelona). mov-s aims to build bridges between the artists and dance organisations in order to establish natural ways of meeting and collaborating. It is an initiative from Mercat de les Flors in Barcelona, but also occurs in other places throughout Spain in an itinerant manner. Previous editions took place in Barcelona in 2007 and in Galicia in 2008. This year mov-s will be held in Madrid and will be organised in collaboration with el Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía.
In the 2010 edition the central theme of mov-s will be the spectator and there will be an analysis of the elements that transform the audience into active spectators able to appreciate and value contemporary works.

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE
This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.
We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary community interacting and embedded unstablelandscape.
This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
