In the Company of Strangers - Cutouts

'Leaving will make strangers of us all'. Masters in Art and Design majoring in dance and video by Mike Baker (aka Rollo Kohime in Second Life.com). I am investigating how our connections, meetings and engagements in the city (and indeed, our lives) are governed by indeterminacy through change - that we are always leaving, to be somewhere else. This project has become a study of 'Leaving' as an event and how this lends a poignancy and pathos to our dealings with others. I have tried to introduce into this dance work, a sense of pathos in the conversation, through the stoic acceptance of change which in itself, cannot be changed.
