SYNOPSIS:
This video of "Human Fountain" contains footage in forward motion and reverse motion. The intention is to illuminate subtle novelties of the human body in flight and the subsequent absorption of impact.

Courtney Giannone

Dance:
Courtney Giannone is a professional dancer and choreographer with a BFA in dance from Fordham University and the Ailey School. She has danced professionally with STREB Extreme Action, Jane Comfort and Company, Aerial Artistry, Diavolo Dance Theater, Jacqueline Buglisi, The Martha Graham Conservatory, and the Ailey school. She has also performed the works of Robert Battle, Kazako Hirabayashi, Pascal Rioult, Milton Myers and Shana Menaker.

The Lew Soloff Jazz Creation, A merging of fields: live music, live dance and dance video 2011-2012
Tip of the Tongue, A live acrobatic and dance performance 2011
City, Solo choreographed for Cornish School of the Arts 2011
Dancers who are Pianists (2013)

Film:
Courtney has explored dance film for one year. Her dance films have been screened at: Sao Carlos International Film Festival for Dance 2010 & 2011, F e d a m e of Mexico 2010 , Move the Frame International Festival of Brazil 2010, International Dance Video Festival of Burgundy 2011, Frameworks Film Festival of 2011, Dance Magazine/ Dance TV 2011, Northwest Film Forum of Seattle 2010, The Big Screen Project 2010 and 2011, Dance New Amsterdam 2011 of New York, MUBI.com (ongoing), Napoli Danza Film Festival of 2011, The STREB Motion in Media Film Festival 2011 of New York, and the Coolidge Corner Theater (2011).
