Strangers stop in perfect geometry; the space in-between screams; out of the corner of your eye you feel their joy; fingers talk to the atmosphere; Sound hits the heart; eyes swim in glances; you are in constant communication. Blanket is a contemplation of the body as a site of information. Drawing from the personal, scientific and cultural Blanket forms its foundation from observations of how the body is adapting to our rapidly evolving culture, as well as what we are saying and not saying about who we are with our bodies.

The creation of BLANKET was made possible by the generous support of the Caldera Artist-In-Residence program and the Cirque du Soleil Cultural Action Department.
