The Physical TV Company, Australia’s only dance-film-phone company, announces the launch of "The Kamikaze Mind", a cross platform project currently dancing across the pages of books and the screen of phones.
"The Kamikaze Mind" is a new fiction and mobile phone project from multi-platform writer/choreographer/director Richard James Allen and creative producer Karen Pearlman.
"The Kamikaze Mind" is the story of an astronaut who launched himself into a black hole. The recovered fragments of his mind have been organized alphabetically into a witty, whimsical, surprisingly touching and laugh-out-loud funny dictionary of a floating mind.
With the publication of "The Kamikaze Mind" (Brandl & Schlesinger), The Physical TV Company, co-directed by author Richard James Allen and long time creative collaborator Karen Pearlman, will become Australia’s first Dance-Film-Phone Company, creating telephone Haiku from the book and images. The Kamikaze Mind’s fragments of witty aphorisms float from the book onto mobile phones as multimedia messages that can be downloaded and forwarded. The Physical TV Company’s partner in the project, TigerSpike, has made this so easy that even the technologically challenged will be able to access these animated messages or wallpapers online from:

This is the first of these micro animations: A - Assignation.

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE
This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.
We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary community interacting and embedded unstablelandscape.
This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
