Surrounding myself with numbers, rules and shapes in order to practice art-making in a manageable and un-intimidating environment. This is my first piece working strictly with a score, it is divided into five sections, each is 23 seconds long and follows a specific pattern or shape. The music was chosen either because it featured 23rd on a playlist or because the complete song was 23 seconds, too. I attempted to edit in 23 minutes but that only made me hysterical. These are what my hands look like at 23 years old, a reminder to future selves.
