Okay, so I’m in another coffee shop strapped on-line. Trying as I might to upload a video to youtube, oh lord. I am also trying to load some photos onto the blog and send an email with photos, so now I am resorting to writing this blog on my word program with the hopes that I can load it up today, now. Puppy is in the van, don’t want her to wait too long for my techno-masturbatory desires to be satiated, but this addiction is overwhelming. After all the videoing, editing, struggles with electricity, plugs are so important in my life, as is water… so important in fact that I paid $10 more at a campsite last night just to have those comforts.

Last night I stayed in the Camden State Park… oh yeah… I’m in Maine now. It has also taken me over. I am deep in it now, scaling the coast, now close to Acadia, my Jewel of the Nile in Maine. So, I’ve stayed in Saco and Wiscasset and Camden, rain, rain, rain, and some fog.

The video loaded, stoked. The young people across from me are talking about the political candidates. It’s interesting because I truly thought the youth of America was wide-eyed for the optimism of Obama, but not so true. Some are voicing their uncertainty. He is a politician a person who puts on a public face and image just like most. My question--why not voice the truth? Why are people so afraid of truth… we don’t know the future of America. Things are so uncertain right now. We can see the world shrinking, communication growing, and speed, speed, speed, and growth, growth, growth… but, no politician can make promises. A promise is never a result. To want and to desire and to drive for an outcome is all anyone can promise, the result is often awkwardly aside the initial vision. A promise to be a vehicle for the will of the people should be the true job of a president, right? Well, what is our will? Best for friends, family, and neighbors, that means everyone, for me this means health. My vote is based on desire for health-care to change in America because it does not work. The system is completely broken and needs to be dug up for a new foundation. The greed needs to be extricated from the greedy and something needs to break through their thick minds of clay and rock that they have enough money from selling insurance or pharmaceuticals that they can move… on.
