About Me (human/individual)/interests, work..short bio/ THis is the most important. It is the only way to know that you are not a SPAMBOT!Be generous!
My first experiences where delimited by a tradition of TEXT-BASED THEATER. In this context I was moved by the urgency to rethink the role of written words, finding strategies to allocate an emancipating role to dramaturgy, materializing a system of conditions that empowers the existence of a piece shared in the subjectivity of those who perform/watch.
In Cordoba the best way to learn was to get in DIRECT contact and work with people I perceived to share affinity of artistic vision. Starting as light technician was my strategy to approach such creators. Among them playwrights Mauricio Kartun (Argentina), Sergio Blanco (France/ Uruguay), Roberto Alvin (Brazil) and directors Cipriano Arguello Pitt (Argentina), and Silvio Lang (Argentina) played the most influential mentoring role.
While based in Cordoba I developed various professional roles in over 60 theatre pieces. This strong background gave rise to a long-standing interest in the friction between space and dramaturgy.
In 2013 I joined the aerial theatre company Fuerza Bruta for three international tours: China\South-Korea (2013), Chile (2014) and a seven-month tour around China (2014). My job as Stage Manager allowed me to engage in a large-scale production with more than 30 people on stage, including technicians and performers, and challenged me to work in an environment where, subject of cultural collision, my communicational skills were strongly expanded.
In 2012 I began a series of collaborations with the Swiss-based choreographer Exequiel Barreras. I was drove to project my entire knowledge and experience into a field for which I had no academic training, in a completely unfamiliar production context. I started researching the extent of dramaturgy in dance. Moreover, my experiences in the Swiss “market“ pushed me to investigate the effects that production conditions have on the creative process.
Currently I’m working in close collaboration with Mr Barreras and the Rotes Velo Tanzkompanie. For the year 2015 we have received financial support to develop three new projects: PITSTOP, to be premiered at the end of April; QUIMERA, a solo performance with the dancer Hella Immler; and UNITED MOVEMENT, a co-production between Poland and Switzerland to be premiered in November.

welcome to UNSTABLELANDSCAPE

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE

This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.

We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary  community interacting and embedded  unstablelandscape.

This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
