Unfortunately we do not have any footage about the public presentation.

Don't hestitate to contact me if you have any additional questions.

Hi Doug, the workshop was for more educational purpose. At the end of the week there was a public presentation of the results of all workshops. Unfortunately I have not received the film footage yet. As soon as I get it I will upload the footage on dance-tech.

The participants of the workshop developed a little choreography which was performed at the public presentation. The workshop was lead by Katharina Christl who is a dancer, choreographer and teacher.

I hope that I have been of assistance to you. As soon as I get the film footage I will let you know.

For more information please feel free to contact Matthias Härtig.

Best,
Jadwiga

Hi Doug, thank you for your interest in the workshop "dance and technology"! Which information about the workshop do you need? If you need information about the software Kalypso itself, you can contact Matthias Härtig (haertig@body-bytes.de).

Kind regards,
Jadwiga Müller

Hey Doug, its just an interest in animatronics and kinetic sculpture at the moment, with a view to collaberation and or development of my ideas in the future. Mechanical sculpture manipulated or moved by performer, just a thought, and an area for me to look into, but thanks for the interest, Aaron.

Hi Doug,
This is Sarah A.O. (www.urgentartist.blogspot.com) - this is the production company that i've just started working for - we do a lot of work for dancers and choreographers and are hoping to jump into the "how best to shoot dance" debate - maybe with some video samples as well. Anyway, just wanted to friend you for them and say hi.
Hope you're well!

Doug - here is the link to the site about "choreobot"

choreobot8.wordpress.com

there are some videos, images, discourse and so on. i am at the inception of the new research project, described in the symposium i created, so these two projects are autonomous of each other. Choreobot is *done*. VICKI is just starting, and as such could stand to benefit from your ideas and responses, or further collaborative support

Thanks for your time
J

did you know you are responding to other people on your own wall? you have to go to the person's profile and comment on their wall if you want them to know that you've responded, otherwise they'll have no way of knowing that you wrote on your own wall. don't worry, i did it too. everyone does the first few times. :-)

Hello Doug Fox. I've been reading your blogs, and checking out some of your work around the blogosphere. I think we should connect. I'm preparing to launch a full research project on my developing project of integrating interactive software in dance technique to facilitate subject-centered, experiential learning in a co-created community of permeable material. I think we've got a fair deal in common and may benefit from a blog to blog about our interests and resources. Care to share?
