Over the next two years, DanceDigital will be hosting a series of symposia exploring current trends
in Dance & Technology. The symposia will include contributions from eminent practitioners in the
field of dance and technology, dance artists and companies, venues and promoters.
We will be exploring a variety of themes and provocations around the Dance & Technology theme.

Our first symposium will be looking at the future of Dance & Technology,
where it is going and what the future will hold. Contributors will include Kit Monkman (KMA),
a Futurologist and a lecturer from a leading Arts and Technology University Course.
There will be the opportunity to ask questions, discuss your own work and gain insight into the
future possibilities and technologies for dance and the arts.

Hi Johannes, yes we are the reborn essexdance and Dance in Herts. Our mission is to lead the field in dance and technology commissioning, intellectual debate, artist support and infrastructure building. The first of our symposia is on 26 May 2009, see our website for further details.

hello, DanceDigital --- are you the new essexdance organization (renamed)? I recognize Felicity's name, Gillian is still there, Anthony is new director? tell us about your mission, or projected programming and how you will be involved in the kind of initiatives and support for new dance technologies that essesDance was known for. Are you continuing this policy? when are these symposia scheduled, where do they take place? with regards, Johannes

welcome to UNSTABLELANDSCAPE

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE

This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.

We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary  community interacting and embedded  unstablelandscape.

This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
