I am reviewing a new text by Johannes Birringer. Has anyone out there read it? It is titled: Performance, Technology, and Science. I would love to hear from choreographers and/or engineers, tech/artists what you think of it. Steve Dixon also did a substantial work two years ago on New media Performance, and Susan Broadhurst and others have put together several volumes and I was wondering what the community's reactions or thoughts were on any of these publications? I would be very interested in hearing about books and articles that have been important to your work that deal with both performance and new media or technologies, immersive, interactive, online, in installations, in galleries and/or proscenium-based. thanks,
Katherine Mezur

still reading it... I will post some comments soon. Steve Dixon's book was a great study for me and the online database a very nice idea. I hope it will get updated...v.

Humans exploring collaboration, coops, hybrid art, dance, embodiment, cognition, tech-science, networks, post-humanism and culture.

welcome to UNSTABLELANDSCAPE

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE

This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.

We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary  community interacting and embedded  unstablelandscape.

This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
