I'm searching for a good live video artist

Hello!

I'm an artist working in the fields of dance, video and performance. I'm creating my new piece and we will start with a residency in PACT Zollverain, Essen from 21st February to 12 March.

I'm looking for someone who can code and build flexible systems where we can play with video delays, multi-camera switching, real-time to recorded-video switching, etc. I'm not interested in motion capture or VJ or mapping. More the "analog" side of video: record, reproduce, in its…

Needed person working with Arduino in Berlin or Madrid

Hello, I'm looking for a collaborator for a project. I need to control a home video switch with an Arduino, that's all! I don't need any programming, just the cable part.

I'm in a bit of a hurry!

I can offer some pay, not much, but some...

Thank you.

And now... MSP!

Hello!

I'm now entering, since some months ago, the world of MSP. I had the chance to explore the basic concepts of MAX and some of the Jitter elements. As a musician I would like to take advantage of the infinite possibilities of MSP to get a more interesting sound, and of course more open to visual and performative systems.

The truth is that I go very slowly, reading the great tutorials. I don't have much time lately, so I slowly learn the basics of the audio flow in Max. I…

MAX Jitter and life among cables.

So it's been a while since my first post.

Finally I managed to learn and build the patch I needed for my project, all at the same time. The idea was to feed MAX with 5 video cameras and create 5 separate videos from it. The videos created where some kind of edition of the video income, as not everything that came from each camera had to be in each final video.
So what I did was getting Ableton Live (from where I also sent two separate channels of audio) to send…

First steps with MAX MSP!

So, I finally purchased the 9 month version of MAX thanks to the offer from Dance Tech. Thank you!

The reason I decided to throw my self into this program is a very practical one. I am finishing my new creation, EDIT, which will be premiered in Madrid (La Casa Encendida) the 13 and 14 of october.

For this piece I'm using some technology in a very specific way. EDIT talks about seeing reality with the eyes of a camera, or more accurately, with the…

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE

This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.

We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary  community interacting and embedded  unstablelandscape.

This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
