About Me (human/individual)/interests, work..short bio/ THis is the most important. It is the only way to know that you are not a SPAMBOT!Be generous!
dance is a practice of inquiry and investigation. as both a design researcher and a movement researcher, i am a question-asker; i (co-)shape and ask questions to move through change. i am interested in continuing to explore how question-making, through the intersections of design and dance, shape the worlds we live in.

specifically, i am interested in exploring adrienne maree brown's work in emergent strategy as a framework for moving in (more) right relationship with oneself, one another, and the spaces we occupy, inhabit, and shape. emergent strategy shapes my facilitation, education, collaboration, and design practices, as well as my performative and choreographic processes.

how do we work with dance, performance, and movement research to practice moving in right(er) relationship to change? to self? to other? to the world(s) we are a part of? to the world(s) we are creating?

how does choreographic process become a site for practicing adaption towards survival through crisis and conditions of chaos and apocalypse?

i am also interested in the intersections of queer phenomenology and dance/performance. drawing on Sara Ahmed's work, i seek to investigate embodied manifestations of dis/orientation, non/linearity, directionality, way/finding, and perception.

through artistic collaborations, research, scholarship, and practices that center dance and movement, i am interested in continuing to explore how to learn from, respond to, and work with emergent strategy, complexity theory, and queer phenomenology.

i seek to approach all practices through critical lenses that center justice, liberation, anti-imperialism, and anti-oppression.

i am also interested in dance as inter/active design, and about the relationships between design, interaction, movement, and memory.

Humans exploring collaboration, coops, hybrid art, dance, embodiment, cognition, tech-science, networks, post-humanism and culture.

welcome to UNSTABLELANDSCAPE

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE

This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.

We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary  community interacting and embedded  unstablelandscape.

This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
