By education she’s an actress, by practice – dance and performance maker. She started to dance as a student in the Drama School. Since then, she took part in many dance workshops and shows, and improvisation courses (with Andrew L. Harwood, Michael Schumacher, Nigel Charnock, and at courses at The School of New Dance Development in Amsterdam).
She got scholarships and participated in several festivals . In 2007 she was granted a residency at Stary Browar within a SOLO PROJEKT funded by Art Stations Foundation in Poznan. In 2007 & 2008 she was presenting her works during the Warsaw Dance Night. In 2008 her piece was selected for the Polish Dance Platform and her recent work „Unknown” was claimed by dance critics as one of the Best Dance Project of 2008. In 2009 she worked with Nigel Charnock on “Happy”.
In her work she uses mostly improvisation, contact-improvisation and performance art (as a means of explorations and as a final product). She is interested in social and cultural issues, cross-media art and interaction with the audience.
She is also teaching improvisation on a regular basis in Poland and abroad. She’s the President of Re-Creative Association.
