REDE represents the interests of the Portuguese contemporary dance sector and it has been the living expression of the mobilization and contestation from the contemporary dance community in Portugal, and the interlocutor per excellence with the Portuguese Government.
Supporting the reflection, production and organization of contemporary dance in Portugal, we support the dance professionals as well as their projects and working conditions.
Being composed by a group of cultural associations and dance companies, we serve as bridge between art institutions, dance professionals, the government as well as lawyers and accountants.
Through our website and facebook, REDE distributes information about cultural opportunities, meetings, current shows, mobility and learning, such in national as in international terms.
Humans exploring collaboration, coops, hybrid art, dance, embodiment, cognition, tech-science, networks, post-humanism and culture.
WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE
This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.
We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary community interacting and embedded unstablelandscape.
This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
