About Me (human/individual)/interests, work..short bio/ THis is the most important. It is the only way to know that you are not a SPAMBOT!Be generous!
I am Bachelor and Licentiate in Dance by the Art Institute of the State University of Campinas/ UNICAMP (2003/Brazil). In 2004, 2005 and 2006 I intensified my research on artistic doing in the Postgraduate Education subjects of the Art Institute of UNICAMP. In 2004, I was performer/founder of Uoco Dance Group. Since 2005 I’ve been part of the Contemporary Dance Company Excaravelhas Group, where I work as a performer, choreographer and producer. Besides the Excaravelhas Group work, I’ve been developing my one contemporary dance researches presenting it in solo dance performances.

1. I’ve been offered dance and artistic creation workshops since 2002, giving priority to people who have less contact with arts in general, although I work giving background and improvement to young ballet dancers. Since 2007 I’ve been work as choreographer and guest art educator of the Non Governmental Organization–Primavera, which assists poor teenage girls in the city of Campinas, Brazil. In 2008, I’ve been working at Hilda Hist Regional Cultural Program, giving the contemporary dance workshops focused on young ballet dancers, and on adults without dance experience.
Since 2005 I’ve been part of the Excaravelhas Group, where I work as a performer, choreographer and producer. The Excaravelhas Group has existed for almost ten years and it has received many awards during these years, including the last one FICC – Campinas Cultural Investment Fund – with the contemporary dance piece “Looking for Elenita Queiroz II” (2008).
Along with the Excaravelhas Group work, I’ve been intensified my studies in research and investigation of the creative possibilities of contemporary dance in works and solo personal initiatives. In this context I’ve tried to amplify the expressive possibilities of the scenic body using the language of others, such as plastic arts, video and performance focusing the creative process on plurality and hybridism.
In 2006 I participated in Djerassi Resident Artists Program (California/USA) with a full scholarship financed by UNESCO’S International Fund for the Promotion of Culture through UNESCO Aschberg Bursaries for Artists Programme, and that resulted in the dance piece “Dream–Taking the body beyond reality…” Awarded by the CULTURAL ACTION PROGRAM – of São Paulo State/ Brazil.
In 2007, I received the award The Bessie Schönberg Memorial Endowed Fellowship for the work developed at Djerassi Program. Still in 2007 I participated as Associate Artist and cooperator of the American choreographer Sarah Skaggs in Master Artist-in-Residence Program of Atlantic Center for the Arts (Florida/USA), sponsored by Program of Promotion and Cultural Exchange of the Ministry of Culture–Federal Government/Brazil. In 2009 I participated in Movimiento en Las Sierras (Provincia de Buenos Aires - Argentina) with a scholarship from the Brazilian Government. At this residency program I hade the opportunity of improve my work in scenic improvisation with the choreographer and interpreter Eugénia Estevez.
Among the last artistic creations, there are: Looking for Elenita Queiroz II (2008), Dream – taking the body beyond reality (2007), January (2007), After Dinner Series # 1 (2007), CUBO (2005).
