I'm a free-lance choreographer working around the globe. I have been a professional dancer for 21 years and for the last 5 years free lancer choreographer and assitant-choreographer of Jiri Kylian.

My dance career started in 1982 with the Iwanson dance company in Munich, in 1985 with th Scapino ballet in Amsterdam and from 1986 to 2003 with the famous Nederlans Dans Theater in den Haag. In those 17 years with NDT I have been working with many celebrated figures of the dance world including Jiri Kylian, William Forsythe, Mats Ek, Ohad Naharin, Edouard Lock, Nacho Duato, Hans van Manen and much more.

As a choreographer I have created 25 works in 20 different companies such as, Nederlands Dans Theater 1, 2 & 3, Basel Ballet, Ballet du capitole, Wienerstaatsoper, Capetown City ballet, Cisne Negro, Introdans, New English Contemporary ballet, Ballet Jazz de Montreal, Artscape, Junior ballet Geneve, Tanztheater Braunschweig, Companhia Portuguesa de bailado contemporianeo, Prague Chamber ballet, Djazzez, Royal conservatory den Haag, Royal conservatory Antwerp, National Dans academie Amsterdam, Artez academie Arnhem.

Creation season 08-09 Ballet du Capitole, New English Contemporary ballet, Companhia Portuguesa de balaido contemporianeo

As an assistant-choreographer of Jiri Kylian I have re-stage or will re-staage work with Prague National ballet, Royal Danish ballet, Bern ballet, Boston ballet, Georgian ballet.

In 2001, I was knighted from the french gouvernment for services to the art, being made "Chevalier dans l'ordre des Arts et des Lettres"
