meta_media lab

Networked memories, knowledge production and dancing bodies

meta_media lab is geared to offer the participants an introduction to the new internet technologies and their implications for knowledge production and distribution with an emphasis on experimentation and movement arts.

The lab will include conceptual presentations and discussions, movement games and expressive digital technology activities generating a participatory/collaborative environment. It will explore the new internet notions of digital memory, ideas ecosystem, self organization, open culture, authorship for digital creativity, meta-writing and vision prototyping.

An open informal collaborative performance/installation will close the lab. List of readings will be developed.
