was pulled out of bed when i remembered that it's the *global* underscore! CI is an extremely meaningful part of my life, both for my inner work and for the outer work in the world of social justice and all around harmony.  to dance with my local community and the widening circles of the CI community all around the world is priceless.  filled with joy and gratitude to everyone who gives and receives. much love, nina smolyar, northampton, massachsetts, now. moscow, russia, born and raised. tseluu ~

blessed with downpouring heatwave breaking river returning water!

we stand out in it as it begins, then trot to cars to roll up windows

now we are wet with sweat and rain standing at the open doors

and seeing the harvest going on in Boulder

while i was writing half of us stripped to their skivvies and are dancing in the rain on the grass

Just as we (Western Massachusetts, US) resolve there is a little thunder and the rain comes - after several days of very hot weather.  the sound of the drops coming down as many stay in their stillness.  some are writing...

Disabled by "mental illness"  I stand sweating in the small dance on a hot summer day in America, connecting around the world with other dancers.  It's winter in South Africa, and orphans there who have little else are wearing the hats and vests I made for them... tears stream down my cheeks.  What a privilege to be ABLE to touch a life so far away!
