camera choice

Hi I've been using eyecon to engage autistic people, creating little bits of magic. I use a simple system with usb speakers and a philips usb webcam running on a dual core laptop.
This enables me to do one2one work with a very quick setup time. Unfortunately the webcam (philips SPC 900NC) is now discontinued. A shame because it works in low light and with a 25M usb extender.

So I'm looking for a reasonably priced alternative, any ideas?
