This FREE 3 HOUR WORKSHOP will explore the process of guiding young voices to create original work. In a “Lab” setting, participants will share experiences and techniques with peers, and walk away with new ideas for shaping original, student-generated dance, theater and performance work in classrooms, residencies and beyond. Key focuses of this workshop include:

  • What are key elements in developing and producing student created work
  • Strategies to working with your support community
  • Different models for cultivating original work by young people
  • Baseline skills to create a safe space in performance
  • Exploring a developmental Tool Box

Facilitated by BAX Teaching Artist and YOUTHWORKS Director Donna Costello, this event is presented as part of BAX’s Annual Teen Arts Conference. For more information, visit: bax.org/teen-arts

Who is this workshop for?

welcome to UNSTABLELANDSCAPE

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE

This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.

We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary  community interacting and embedded  unstablelandscape.

This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
