The workshop aims at challenging our understanding of notation and spectatorship. It addresses the question: can a book-performance allow changes in norms of relation between spectators, performers and makers?
Be the reader of the book-performance Sync. Experience being reader/theatre/spectator/performer.
We will explore different types of encounter with the book by trying variable beginnings (being more or less expert of the language). We will share our physical experiences of reading the choreography. We will exchange our personal interpretations, and re-name/re-write/re-invent the score with newly generated movements of thoughts, imagination, and actions.
How to participate:
Write to emilie@post-cie.com and tell how and when do you want to begin the workshop:
a. Starting on Friday, 11h-13h: session ‘movement of writing / writing of movement’
b. Starting on Friday, 13h-15h: session ‘movement of reading / reading of movement’
c. Starting on Saturday, 11h-15h, having received the book a week earlier
NB: 18th and 20th are optional dates, 19th is mandatory. Participation fee: 20 euros
++ extra: join the performance, 24th May 20h, ArtEZ, Arnhem . That same evening Julian Barnett will present his research 'Bridge (The Union Piece)' and Tomaz Simatovic will present 'The Entertainer'.

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE
This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.
We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary community interacting and embedded unstablelandscape.
This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
