Dynamic warm up / Exploration of individual movement qualities / Practice of making short dance pieces.
The warm up is based on Modern dance, Release and Alexander Technique, and the composition part is based on Rhythmical Structures and Expressive Performance.
Kathleen Delaney - MDh in Performing Arts, Alexander technique teacher - has been dancing her solo works in Italy, Switzerland, France, Nederlands, Poland, Finland and has collaborated with many choreographers, musicians and visual artist, performing in Bruxelles (PARTS), Avignone, Rotterdam, Zurich, Lugano, Mantova, Palermo, a.o.
She has been guest teacher and lecturer in Italy, UK, Germany and Russia for institutions like Middlesex University, London / SNDO, Hogeschool voor de kunsten, Amsterdam / Zip Contact Festival, Orvieto / The art of Movement, Yaroslavl, Russia and for the IADMS, International Association for Dance Medical Science, NY-The Hague.
