Event Description

Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition will take place April 18-21 at The Kaye Playhouse, with 100+ young classical ballet and contemporary dancers from countries around the world, from Brazil to Japan. The exceptional talents will dance for medals, scholarships, and company contracts before a panel of international dance figures, chaired by Charles Jude.

April 18 opens at 1:30 pm with a short performance by Nina Ananiashvili's State Ballet of George and continues with the Classical Ballet Round 1;

April 19 begins at 2 pm with Contemporary/Neo Classical Dance;

April 20 consists of Finals, beginning at 2 pm;

April 21 begins with the Gala Performance, featuring a duet danced by Kozlova and Ricardo Scheir, and an appearance by Bradley Shelver's Joffrey Ballet Concert Group, and continues with the Awards presentations.
