Event Description

Dear Monkeys,

Come see dancing and pretty light. The dancers are going to move around in ways that make them look like sorta like robots, but still sorta like people, too. And whenever the dancers move, the pretty lights on stage will move around. Oh, and goofy sound effects, too. It's gonna look pretty cool.

Robots:

You are invited a performance combining projected imagery with human bodies. In this show, the human bodies will be communicating in a gestural form loosely inspired by popping, locking, and liquid. These movements have been choreographed against projected imagery and custom sound effects, exploring the cyberspacial link between human bodies and technology. The goal is to augment or otherwise illustrate human gestures by linking them to sound effects and projections.

WE LIVE WITHIN AN UNSTABLE LANDSCAPE

This is a social networking website connecting people concerned about innovation and experimentation on art, dance, embodiment, cognition, science, networks, post-humanism, media and the unstable landscape of contemporary culture and life.

We are in a transitional phase and refocusing the network with a broader interdisciplinary framework. It will reflect a contemporary  community interacting and embedded  unstablelandscape.

This network is maintained and administrated by Marlon Barrios Solano as an independent art/curatorial/social innovation project.
