Master the fundamentals of traditional Argentine stage tango in just four weeks

PROGRAM LEVEL I

1) An Introduction to Traditional Stage Tango, Projection of various Tango Ballet historic films, Body Training: Embrace/frame within the couple, Corrida exercises, Baldosa (for square movement), turning Baldosa
2) Review of turning Baldosa, introduction to three musical parts (intro, adagio, variacion), Walking in straight line exercises (alone and with partner), work on linear walking sequences (caminatas), caminatas with cambios de frente, Tango Tricks and drops
3) Adagios: Lapiz exercises (alone and in couple), adagio sequences with lines and poses
4) Continuation of Adagios:Poses (leg wraps), Montadas and sentadas
5) Variaciones: High-speed Corridas (linear variaciones)
6) Variaciones in place, Doble ganchos, giros for woman, Ganchos & priouettes
7) Coaching session with Sergio Segura
8) Final Poses, Traditional Tango stage bows

For couples of professional dancers only with a minimum of 5 years of training is preferred. Same height of hips is recommendable but not mandatory. Maximum of 8 couples per course.
It is available a list of single dancers waiting to match a couple.
We will inform you who is available and you will choose your partner.

IMPORTANT: We will be creating our new tango performance company in the near future and will consider all dancers to form part of it.
