An Ecology of Mind is a film portrait of Gregory Bateson, celebrated anthropologist, philosopher, author, naturalist, systems theorist, and filmmaker, produced and directed by his daughter, Nora Bateson. Bateson's thinking will make a difference.

Brief Synopsis

An Ecology of Mind a filmic portrait of anthropologist, biologist, and psychotherapist Greogry Bateson, who believed “The major problems in the world are the result of the difference between the way nature works and the way people think.” This documentary is an invitation into “systems thinking” and interrelationships in the natural world…seen through the relationship between father and daughter. Gregroy Bateson's most seminal ideas are illustrated and depicted in a lyrical, compelling way.
